Palmer Superior Court

Palmer Superior Court is located in Alaska's Third judicial district. District court is also held at this location and their is a magistrate judge here as well. East Palmer-Wasilla highway, Glenn highway (SR 1) and East Artic avenue are major roads in and about Palmer.

There two facilities in Palmer where community events may be held; the MTA Events center which also has an ice surface for skating and the Palmer Community center. The latter center's past as a depot is brought to mind by the small scale railroad engine sitting on the grounds. The annual Alaska State fair is held in late August on the fairgrounds near Palmer. The fair has exhibits in anything from baked goods to flowers to livestock and lots of live entertainment and music. Located in a log cabin erected for Alaska's Centennial in 1967 you will find the Palmer Visitor Center and the Palmer Museum of History & Art. One of the collections on exhibit here is the outdoor farm equipment collection which includes a seed planter and a horse drawn plow.
