About the area

Try to visit the model train layout at the L&N Depot Museum in the original Foley railroad station. The layout represents the 1950's era, when the rail lines were in the transition of being run by steam to running on diesel fuel. The museum also houses pictures and artifacts that depict the culture of South Baldwin County, in particular the City of Foley. Foley Municipal airport, located at the Western edge of the city, is a small facility owned by the city of Foley with a single runway approximately 3700 feet in length.
