Cambrian Ridge Golf course in this city is worth a visit for any golfer looking for 36 holes of challenging golf. The best part is that this course was named by Golf Digest as the third best new public course in America in 1994 and 13th in their list of America's Top 50 Affordable Courses and as one of the nation's 40 Super Value Courses. If you like a good festival you can come to this city at different times of the year. For the Fourth of July the city has the Celebrate America festival with great food, entertainment and a fireworks extravaganza. The Butler County Fair, held in September includes livestock, crafts, a flower show, baked goods and carnival rides. That's not all; at the end of October, Old Time Farm Days has demonstrations of mule-plowing teams, pedal tractor races, quilting, basket making and blacksmithing.
