The Woodland Park Softball Complex in this town is so well maintained that it often is host to area, regional, state and national softball tournaments. But remember they want to keep this place clean and safe so don't ride your bicycles or skateboards here, don't bring your pets and no alcoholic beverages or beverage containers. Michael Tucker Park is the southern terminus of the Chief Ladiga Trail. It is nestled within a pecan grove and has parking, a gazebo, a drinking fountain, and rest-room facilities. Dr. Michael Tucker, a noted Anniston physician for whom the park was named was a long-time bicycle enthusiast.
