It's easy to get around Oxford if you drive on US 78, US 431 or SR 21 which all connect with the major streets in the city. SR 21 connects with IS 20 in the Southern part of the city. |

At the Southeast edge of the city lies Oxford Lake park with a large lake within the site. Ther's lots to do in this park. If you can't find some form of recreation around the walking track, Children's playground, tennis courts, covered picnic pavillions, horseshoe pits and volleyball area, swimming pool, a par 3 golf course with driving range, and 2 separate ball complexes consisting of softball fields and baseball fields along with batting and pitching cages; then you won't find it anywhere. Everything is within walking distance of the large parking lots. The Anniston Metropolitan Airport, located to the Southeast of Oxford, can accomodate some pretty large aircraft with a runway approximately 7000 feet in length.
