Jemsion has a new municipal facility which is the location for the City Clerks office, Police Department, Library, Municipal Court as well as other city offices. And a beautiful bulding it is. It seems that some women are going around Jemison stealing credit cards. For example a credit card stolen at Jemison Florist by some women was later used at Hibbett Sports in Clanton to purchase merchandise. They might end up in that new building. You would think they could along without this type of activity; since the cost of living index in Jemison is about, below the U.S. average of 100.
