If you want a nice small town to live in, come to Coffeeville; its less than 400 residents spread out in an area of approximately 4 1/2 square miles won't crowd you . Coffeeville Reservoir, also known as Coffeeville Lake, is an over 8,500-acre U.S. Army Corps of Engineers impoundment located on the Tombigbee River. The dam is located approximately 3 miles from the town of Coffeeville. A modern service campground, maintained by the Corps of Engineers, has campsites, showers, a laudromat, and boat ramp and is located just upstream of the dam and West of the town of Coffeeville.
