About the area

The tremendous amount of greenery in and about the city has led many to call Evergreen the Emerald city. Evergreen Municipal Park is the site of a horse arena where horse shows are held monthly during the spring to the fall. This park built through the labor, materials and cash contributions made by the residents is also where the Bluebird Trail, a mile-long path where hikers can enjoy the lovely scenery and are treated to the occaisional sight of deer and wild turkey, is located.
