About the area |
Apparently some people think a lot of Luverne; it was recently named one of the top ten cities in the United States in terms of livability. You have a chance here to visit the World's Largest Peanut Boil, sponsored by the Shriners, held in conjunction with the Peanut Boil Festival in early September. You will be able to purchase some of the over 60,000 pounds of peanuts which are sold each Labor Day weekend. Add excitement to your life by attending the Fourth of July Fireworks Display. |
