About the area |
Selma is a respectable city in size with a population of over 18,000 and a land area of approximately 14 square miles. The location of three colleges in Selma: Selma University, Concordia College and Wallace Community College, adds to the city's position as a cultural center which draws visitors from the more than 80,000 people who live in the surrounding areas.
We'd swear that Selma has a strong place in the history of the civil rights movement, but we don't think Selma Municipal Court played a huge role in that. |
