About the area |
Collinsville was founded in the mid 1800's and this city of just over 1700 enjoys its shady streets lined with old homes. Visitors are invited to enjoy a stroll through these streets as well as southern home cooking at one of the unique restaurants in town. Residents have an opportunity to sell their old things , things they just don't want and all and sundry at the Collinsville Trade Day flea market held every Saturday at the south end of town on U.S. Highway 11. |
