About the area |
The Black Belt Folk Roots Festival is held each year toward the end of August on the Old Courthouse Square. At this festival, craft persons, musicians, dancers, story tellers, food specialists, artists, and community workers all do their best to uphold the traditions and folkways of the West Alabama region.
The Black Warrior river which lies just to the East of Eutaw separates Greene and Hale counties. |
