About the area |
Although the city's history dates back to the early 1800's; it was not incorporated as a municipalty until 1960 and in 2010 the city celebrated its official 50 years. Since the incoporation the city's population has grown three fold. They must like their horses in Hueytown; horse lovers and those who ride the four legged beasts will gather in Hueytown from March through August for the Hueytown Saddle Tramps Horse show at the Hueytown Arena.
