What would an Alabama town be without its plantation house and Town Creek has its very own located to the North of town; the Goode-Hall House. This house, on the National Register of Historic Places. and a beauty of architectural splendor has had its share of owners. Built at the beginning of the 1830's by a Saunders, it was subsequently sold to a Goode and then to the Hall family. In the 1940's it passed into the hands of yet another family which still owns the property. There are a total of 51 mountain summits and peaks around Town Creek. |
