After the vast majority of the city was burned to the ground during the Civil War and rebuilt, it is not surprising that its new name was New Hope. The city is not exempt from dope problems at least from those who would manufacture the stuff. During a traffic stop recently in New Hope; a mobile methamphetamine lab was discovered in the motorists vehicle. Got nothing on the traveling crap game. There are a large group of mountains to the West of the city. |
