About the area |
The Pastime Theatre was built in the 1930's and was operated for many years as a movie theatre with the occaisional staging of enough for vaudeville productions. After several owners restoration of the theatre at the beginning of the 21st century. Now owned by the City of Winfield; the theater offers a four-performance concert series each year and performances showcasing comedians, storytellers, childrenâs plays, and all types of musicians, including classical piano, violin, folk, country and rock and roll. |
