About the area |
Located on top of Gunter Mountain; Grant is afforded views of Guntersville Lake, the Tennessee River and historic Kennamer Cove. Cathedral Caverns State Park is located five miles from Grant. Be sure to visit this site. The entrance to Cathedral Caverns measures approximately 125 feet wide and 25 feet high. Inside the cavern, are located Big Rock Canyon, Mystery River and some beautiful formations created by Mother Nature. Among them, you will see Stalagmite Mountain, The Frozen Waterfall and Goliath, a huge stalagmite column that reaches the ceiling of the cave some 45 feet above. You just have to see this place. |
