Going to Flat Rock park is a must to complete any visit to Wedowee. The swimming, picnicking and fishing, along Lake Wedowee is just great. You might also want to try the walking nature trails on the 25 acres of granite which make up the park. Hilltop Campground, located just to the North of Wedowee, is an excellent location for enjoying the great outdoor sites that surround the site. There are the rapids of Cheaha Creek and Cheaha State Park is a perfect location to stop by on a gorgeous day.
