About the area

Phenix City is justifiably proud of its Amphitheater located on the banks of the Chattahoochee River. This outdoor venue is the site of concerts, graduations and other special events. The Phenix City Exchange Club hosts two annual sporting events here. Its Tennessee Walking Horse Show, held in June, draws more than 260 horses and their riders. The Sporting Clay Shoot, held each April at Argorosa Plantation, is a four man team event. Its Sporting Clays Classic, is held in October at the same location. So come out you skeet shooters.
