The only fairly decents roads in this city of many streets, CR 22, CR 30 and CR 61, lie in the Southeastern part of town and CR 22 and CR 61 stretch to meet US 78 to the West and South. |

About the area |
The had to be some Spanish influence here for the city to be named Cordova. The nearby town of Dora has a wonderful place to take the kids; the Alabama Mining Museum. This museum's features include a 1900's train, one-room Black school, 1900s Kellerman Post Office, and the Oakman Depot.Occupying the same site is the Old Wyatt Elementary School and several mining cars. The fairly new Riverbend Golf Course facility, to the Northeast, is an 18 hole course with over 6,500 yards of golf. |
