About the area

For the recreation of its residents; Corning provides a swimming pool, public park, ball fields and tennis courts in addition to a sports complex covering approximately 300 acres where the M.B. Ainsley, Jr. Community center is located. In the center there is a gymnasium which can be used for basketball, volleyball and roller skating, an elevated walking track, exercise rooms, game rooms, conference rooms, racquetball courts, a kitchen and dining area and a golf pro shop. On the surrounding grounds there are soccer fields, ball fields, a fishing lake with a boat ramp and pier and a nine hole golf course.
