The Van Buren County Court can also be called the Crawford County Court. It is located in the same building as the Van Buren Circuit court.

About the area

The King Opera House, having been built in the 1880's, is over 100 years old; but has been restored in all its glory to the palace it was when first built. Jenny Lind performed and William Jennings Bryan spoke in this theater. It now is the site of musical and dramatic productions all through the year. The theater is also the place where Brushy Mountain Music productions puts on its yearly Tribute to the Legends show and the home of the Fort Smith's Young Actors Guild.
