About the area

The Ozark Area Depot museum is one of two museums in Ozark. It is located in the renovated Missouri-Pacific/Union Pacific depot built around 1911. The building, located by the railroad tracks on River Street, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The museums exhibits display items related to Ozark's early history and railroad memorabilia. From the museum you can catch a view of lock and dam and the Historic River bridge on the Arkansas River.
