The Waldron Mural on Second Street is certainly a point of interest for visitors. This piece of art created cooperatively by art students from Waldron High school and Rich Mountain Community College depicts the history and points of interest in Scott county and Waldron. Lake Hinkle, West of town, was created by the by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, the U.S. Forest Service and the U.S. Soil Conservation Service. It's a body of water where fisherman can expect to catch largemouth, hybrid striped, white and spotted bass; bluegills; red-ear sunfish; crappie; and channel, blue, and flathead catfish.
