Marshall District Court

Marshall District Court is the district court of Searcy county and hears traffic and misdemeanor case from throughout the county.

The Searcy County Civic center is a community center which is open to all the residents of Searcy county and provides facilities for their recreational needs. The center has a gymnasium suitable for basketball or volleyball, fitness center, tennis courts, concession booth for snacks and a swimming pool. With Searcy county declaring itself the "Chocolate Roll Capital of the World" the Marshall High School Art Club holds a Chocolate Roll festival in March at the school. Competitors come to this festival with their best Chocolate rolls and hope to come away with the best prize. Attendees pick the favorite of these desserts after visiting the booths of the competitors and tasting their rolls to declare the “World Champion Chocolate Roll”. The festival also includes a car show, music and arts and crafts. Prospective competitors for the next year can take advantage of the Chocolate roll classes.
