About the area

The St. Francis County museum is housed in the historic Rush-Gates home which has been restored. In this museum you will be able to view the J.O. Rush relic collection, a reconstructed doctor's office, geology and fossils from Crowley's Ridge and exhibits reflective of the county, veterans and African-American history. The building is also the visitors center for the Crowley's Ridge National Scenic byway. The Civic center of Forrest City has a large auditorium, club rooms and conference rooms and is available for rental to hold functions.
