About the area |
The Petrified national Forest is a good place to visit. it is located along Interstate 40 outside the city. You find a lot of colorful petrified wood here and so is the name it is also called the Painted Desert of America. Towards the south end of the park visit the Agate house which belonged to a native Indian. This house was constructed with petrified wood and it is the only kind in the entire country. |
