Marana Municipal Court is now somewhat famous for having had Jared Lee Loughner on a minor charge. News reports indicate his case was dismissed after he went through a "diversion program." Such programs are supposed to involve counseling. It is unclear at this writing what the diversion program did for Loughner, but apparently it was not enough.

Marana is a rather new city and is still developing in many ways. All the facilities and recreation that you find here will be modern and state of the art. There is no dearth for shopping malls and entertainment zones in the city. However Marana has a rich cultural history. It is also located between two of the busiest cities of Arizona.
