You probably would not be able to afford to live in Pleasanton. People choose to live there because of the quality of life --- good schools, low crime rate, nice downtown area, etc.... Please get more facts before you say anything.<br> By the way, where do you live? Also, what are the "cool stuff"? <br>Editor's Note: I went to Stanford and I've been to Pleasanton. I now live in Albany NY, which is a lot like Pleasanton. I know what I'm talking about. The cool stuff nearby is in San Francisco and on the ocean, plus places like Sausalito and Tiburon. Lots of people live in and near Pleasanton because they can't afford to live in San Francisco or Silicon Valley.
