Eureka is home to the Giant Red Wood forest. When you visit the forest you can see the Giant sized red wood trees, which are tall and have huge red trunks. Somewhat like Sequoia trees but not as big. Also the highlight is when you reach the end of the forest you come to California’s vast shoreline. The Carson Mansion is one of the evry few Victorian Mansions left in the United States and if you are spending a lot of time in this vicinity then maybe you should visit.
Fantastic coastline up here in Humboldt County. We think Ronald Reagan grew up in these parts. |
