Can't be a lot of speeding tickets for Catalina Traffic Court, or what? Heavy duty stuff goes to San Pedro or Long Beach. Big chunk of the cases are for open containers of alcoholic beverages in golf carts. |

About the area |
Located on an island on the Pacific Ocean, there is no one in this world who wouldnââ¬â¢t fall in love with Avalon. The perfect California weather adds a lot to its ambience. Descanso Beach is a prime tourist area and was once home to the famous hotel St. Catherine which reduced to ashes in a fire. There are many fun things one could do on this island. In summers Avalon turns into a major beach resort with kayaking, snorkeling, jet skis and a lot of underwater fun. Many people visit the Wrigley Casino which has a ball room and a theater inside. There is plenty to shop on the shoreline and a lot of handicraft items are sold here. |
