About the area |
Inglewood was known as the African-American city and the fact of the matter is not many of them lived here and actually it is as ALL-American as any other city. It offers a distinct advantage to arts and culture which very few cities have. The Centinela Adobe Complex and the Centinela Valley and Heritage center are closer to this city. The Southern Californian city also has an active sports culture and is home to many leagues. The Los Angeles Storm and Southern California Seahorses who play in the United Soccer League's (USL) Premier Development League are from here. Inglewood has been depicted in at least some movies as a dangerous place. |
