This is the Van Nuys Traffic Court. We think this is where Britney Spears had her trial on driving with a suspended license in front of Judge Steele. The case ended with a "hung jury" -- 10 jurors were on Britney's side and 2 wanted to convict her. Kinda like the OJ trial but a lot shorter and almost no one cares. :-) |

About the area |
Once in Van Nuys the first place to visit should be the Japanese Garden. This could be a one day outing and is really a treat. You find the most exotic of plants and flowers, displays of Ikebana, and Bonsai plants. Beautifully landscaped garden it is and an ideal haven for a picnic with family or friends. The Sepulveda Dam is also an interesting place to visit and is also easy to get there. The Busch gardens theme park is a good place for kids and also adult fun. Van Nuys Boulevard has a lot of shopping and dining places that one might love. |
