Merced is right at the entrance of Yosemite National park and most people who visit the city are there because of the national park. The Yosemite Ranges has been popular for Big Foot and some experts still believe that big Foot exist and some think that there was someone playing the fool. But people visit the Yosemite National park for several reasons. One of the main reason is trekking up the Half door rock which is the most popular attraction.
