Old Comments about Westminster Superior Court (hide)

Feb 16 2012 01:46:54: I sat in traffic court for 4+ hours yesterday (2/14) on yep, Valentine's Day and witnessed injustice being dispensed behind the bench by Judge Glenn Mondo who was verbally bullying and abusive to limited English speaking Vietnamese and Latino accusants. One after another, I watched him ask his questions in rapid fire, as if he was doing in auto-pilot mode, never listening nor caring. He did NOT give the interpreters time to interpret and lesser still time for the accused to give their replies. He whimsically imposed levies of $300-600 photo tickets to the poor and elderly without regard to giving them a fair trial. He was condescending and dehumanizing at best. I was among the last 3 to speak in court that had more than 100 people in it earlier that afternoon. At 4:30pm, in my perfect accent-free English, I am assailing that the judge di NOT give me fair trial. I am going to use my college education and all my political advocacy experience, savvy and connections to make sure that Judge Glenn hears my plea...or I am NOT worth the salt my first-generation, war-surviving parents instilled in me! Judge Mondo, you have been warned!
