Dorris provides beautiful views of Mount Shasta standing like a white giant against the city - unless it's a little far away from here?? It is mostly spread over Siskiyou County rather. It is easy to get there too and one can’t resist because it looks inviting. Once you get there you can visit the legendary Mossbrae Falls, near Dunsmuir. You can probably get there from any other place too but the views from Dorris are so tempting that you will end up in the mountains.
The Dorris area is also known as Butte Valley. A couple of small lakes are close, and then there's one of them there Klamath Lakes along the northern CA border with Oregon. |
