Looks like the Modesto Traffic Court entrance is at the ass end of a mini-mall, next to a dumpster. How appropriate. If that's not bad enough, they'll top up the fees if you want a payment plan or are late. The street is not named for golfer Raymond Floyd.

About the area

Nearly 200K residents inhabit Modesto in Central California. It's a long commute to the Silicon Valley area but some do it. Modesto is working on a sister city relationship with Beijing because they share similar air quality. Beijing seems hesitant to be linked with such a podunk, dangerous, crime-filled place (hey, it's been that way for nearly 100 years). But they respect the totalitarian government and especially what they see in Modesto Traffic Court.
