About the area |
Nearly one million people of the Denver area depend on Roxborough State Park for entertainment during holidays and long weekends. However it does not mean that the park is over crowded but it has plenty of space in it for everyone. There are trails for all types of hikers from the easiest to the most difficult ones. Through out the park you will see beautiful sandstone sculptures made by nature a few thousands of years ago. Make sure you carry your camera as you might just spot the Dakota hogback!
