About the area |
Ward is famous for the pioneer village which is full of history and antiquity. The village is a museum by itself and features antiques, cars, horse carriages and sleds. There is also stuff from historic printing press which saw a lot of activity during the Civil War. There are pictures taken from the World War II period and have been displayed in the museum. You will walk buy an old barbershop and wonder how different times were back then. People would have been walking on the same street as you are but times have changed and you are juts in this frozen land which is different from the rest. Sometime not moving is a good thing! |
