The Lathrop State Park is one of the biggest state parks among the 42 state parks in that area. It was also the very first of its kind in the state. Martin Lake and the Horseshoe lake are the main attractions. They are home to some of the biggest trout and catfish and bass and so a lot of fishing competitions are held here.
