About the area |
Walden is mostly famous for the Arapahoe wildlife refuge. The wildlife of the Rockies is very unique and every effort is made to preserve them. This refuge was set up in 1967 and the boundaries were marked. Animals such as waterfowl, cats and the animals that are from the prairie wet lands call it home here. The park was mainly created to promote the nesting of these rare birds. |
