About the area

The town of Creede was first the playground of the silver miners. The city did very well in the late 18th century when there was a silver boom. Wason Ranch and meadow was built t that time and still runs efficiently. It is located very close to the Rio Grande. Many avid fishers say that Trout fishing is the best here. Some very special breed of horses is also bred here. On the whole a visit to this ranch can be fruitful.
