About the area |
Windham is a quiet place with a lot of tranquility and beautiful scenic countryside. There are a lot of diary farms and many people cultivate cattle here. Also a lot of Cheese and milk production is concentrated in Windham. The industry also spreads to paper and tools. Putnam is somewhere between Norwich, Providence (RI), and Worcester (MA). Some would call this the middle of nowhere, but we will not say that. Oops, we just did. Heck, they say it themselves -- heart of the quiet corner. Come on! |
