About the area

Naples is a wealthy community in Collier County [not Monroe County by the way]. The per capita median income is in the high middle income range and pockets of high per capita income communities exist as well. Here is where you can rub elbows with the hoi polloi; with over 200 Fortune 500 CEO's in residence at various times of the year. However a large part of the economy is based on tourism. Naples is part of a large vacation resort with over 20 golf courses, country clubs and assorted hobnobbery in the area plus several large nature reserves.
The downtown area has many upscale stores and antique shops. Is anyone else sick of the word upscale? Naples is served by a moderately sized Municipal airport which is the scene of commercial flights as well as a goodly number of private flights throughout the year.
