About the area

Port Saint Joe is a city on the Gulf of Mexico and offers beautiful views of the Gulf (what else?). Fishing is the main draw for visitors and there are boats available for rental. For those wishing to travel back into the history of Florida; a visit to nearby Constitution Convention museum, located in a 13 acre State park, is a must. The museum commemorates the work of the fifty-some delegates who scrawled the first Florida Constitution. The Museum has many exhibits representative of the period in the 1800's.
Rumors that the first draft was on toilet paper just are completely made up you know.
