So we gotta ask if the street name comes from a rural dog (hick - poochy)?

LaBelle being the county seat of Hendry County has as its primary economy the government offices. A significant segment of its population has incomes below the poverty level. Each year the Swamp Cabbage festival is held in LaBelle. The Caloosahatchee River (try saying that three times fast) runs through a good portion of the north of Hendry County. LaBelle also has a Municipal airport.
