About the area

Brooksville is certainly a nice place to live. There are areas for hunting, fishing and biking. The city's three parks offer walking trails, sports area and picnicking. A branch of the Pasco-Hernando Community college is located at the edge of the city. Hernando County Airport (general aviation) has great history of World War II operations. The site was primarily used during that time as a training site. After the war it was turned over to Hernando County.
Withlacoochee State Park is to the east. Apparently this is where you go with your French girlfriend.
