This part of the Monroe County Courts holds hearings for Traffic infractions commited between mile markers 35 and 70.5. Traffic infractions are heard on the first Wednesday of each month. This court also holds hearings for Felony, Misdemeanor and Juvenile cases.

About the area

Marathon is at the mid point of the Florida keys and is made up largely of the Vaca, Fat Deer,Boot and Grassy keys. Marathon offers many wonderful sites for snorkeling, fishing and sailing. Crane Point is the place for hiking through a tropical grove. On the south of the key, across Boot Key Harbor, is located Sombrero Country Club; a private club whose membership consists of people from all over the world. Marathon is serviced by its own airport.
Boats are popular in Marathon and the rest of the Keys. Pink triangles are respected, though not quite as common as in Key West. They let straights in too. No Don't Ask Don't Tell policy or anything.
Nearby Key Colony Beach is a nice spot - we've been there. And the rumors about renaming Boot Key to Key Viagra were just a joke.
