About the area

New Smyrna Beach was first founded in before 1770 by a Scottish doctor, and we all now that if it isn't Scottish, it's crap!. The New Smyrna Beach Municipal Golf course was designed by a well-respected guy who is apparently not related to singer Diana Ross. The courthouse is located along the Indian River North and Chicken Island is nearby.
