Thomasville being located in the mountainous part of Georgia has become a popular ski resort in winters. Even in summers it manages to keep a cool weather similar to a hill resort. Thomasville has been home to several rich and the affluent serving as a private ski backyard. Obviously the rich and the famous cannot go to Aspen and they need something more private. |
